Veterans helping Veterans:

Charles Steve Roemer, Jr., 89, entered into rest Tuesday, April 26, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born July 9, 1926 in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Steve was a graduate of Bowling Green High School and Western Kentucky State College and served two years in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

The Funeral Service will be held 12:30 pm, Saturday, May 28, 2016 at St. Bridget’s Catholic Church, 220 N 14th St. Las Vegas, NV 89101. A Prayer Service and Military Honors will be in the Chapel, followed by burial, at 10:40 am, Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at the Southern Nevada Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Boulevard, Boulder City, NV 89005.

a Toyota 1997 rav4 donated to the post.



It is 4 wheel drive, 4 door, and manual transmission and has air. We will have a silent auction on this vehicle displayed outside the post hall, west side.

The bidding is starting at 1,500.00 and goes up from there. Bids can be submitted to 1st vice (Terry Estabrook) or Adjutant (Richard Gray). Must be in writing and signed to be legal bid. Bids will be posted on the door, of the storage room for the bar so everyone can see it.

Auction will go until the 21st of June and winner will be announced at installation dinner that night.
